ProstaFlow vs Other Products: 7 Checks for Comparing Supplements

Quick answer. To compare ProstaFlow with any other product, use seven checks instead of a brand duel: are all amounts printed, which ingredients, how they compare with trial doses, what is claimed, cost per day, when the guarantee starts, and who answers the phone. We name no other brand here, only the method.

The printed panel is the fairest thing to compare. Hold any other bottle’s panel up beside it.
Key facts
  • ProstaFlow prints an amount for all seven rows. It has no proprietary blend.
  • It holds amino acids and two nutrients. It holds no saw palmetto, beta-sitosterol, pygeum, pumpkin seed, zinc or lycopene.
  • Add the two arginine rows and the printed total is 400 mg, yet the arginine inside comes to about 333 mg.
  • Cost a day, shipping included: $2.80 on two bottles, $2.30 on three and $1.63 on six.
  • The guarantee is 60 days from the shipping date. Check when any other seller’s window starts.
  • No product called ProstaFlow Maxx or ProstaFlow Plus is described in our sources.

Why compare supplements with a method, not a brand name?

Search results love a head-to-head. One product beats another in a headline, and the page earns a click. The trouble is that the winner is usually whoever paid for the page. A method cannot be bought, and you can reuse it on any bottle.

So we will not name another product here. We will give you seven checks and show how ProstaFlow answers each. Run the same seven on the other bottle, then put the answers side by side.

You may also see names such as ProstaFlow Maxx or ProstaFlow Plus. Nothing in our sources describes a product under those names. The only ProstaFlow described here is the one-capsule-a-day dietary supplement with seven label rows, so check any other bottle’s panel before assuming it is the same.

What are the 7 checks for comparing ProstaFlow with anything else?

Check 1. Are all the amounts printed?

A proprietary blend hides how much of each ingredient you get. ProstaFlow prints seven rows with an amount for each. If the other bottle shows one total for a blend, you cannot compare ingredient by ingredient.

Check 2. Which ingredients are in it?

Names on a front label can mislead. ProstaFlow carries no prostate herb. If you want saw palmetto, you need a bottle that lists it, and you should read the research first.

Check 3. How do the amounts sit against the trials?

Look up the dose in the study behind each ingredient. Five of ProstaFlow’s rows sit far under their trial doses. Ask the same question of the other bottle.

Check 4. What exactly is claimed?

ProstaFlow’s label makes no efficacy claim, and the seller adds two soft phrases. A product that names a disease or promises a number has gone further than this one, and it should have the evidence to match.

Check 5. What does a day cost?

Divide the full price, shipping included, by the days of supply. Do it for both products at the same pack size.

Check 6. When does the guarantee start?

ProstaFlow counts 60 days from the shipping date, not the day you order and not the day it arrives. A window that starts on delivery is worth more days to you.

Check 7. Who answers the phone?

ProstaFlow lists an order desk number and a returns box. Look for the same on the other seller’s site, and look for it before you pay.

How should you read the milligrams?

Two traps catch people who compare milligrams. The first is the sum. The two arginine rows print 200 mg each, but the AKG row is a 2:1 extract, so its 200 mg holds about 133 mg of arginine. The arginine you receive is about 333 mg, not 400.

The second trap is the salt weight. Both citrulline rows are weighed as salts, so the citrulline is below the 200 mg their printed amounts total. No malate ratio is printed, so nobody can calculate the exact figure.

Row on the labelPrinted amountTrial dose named in our sources
L-arginine (base)200 mg1.5 to 5 g a day, pooled in the arginine meta-analysis
L-arginine AKG 2:1200 mg12 g a day in the trials, given as 4 g three times daily
L-citrulline HCl100 mg1.5 g a day for a month in Cormio’s trial
L-citrulline malate100 mgAbout 8 g in exercise trials
Beta alanine40 mg4 to 6 g a day in the sports nutrition position stand

Those trials measured blood pressure, erectile function or exercise. None measured a prostate outcome.

Use this layout for any bottle. Print the amount, find the trial dose and look at the gap. A big gap is a fair question to put to any seller, ours included.

Is there a generic version, or a cheaper copy?

ProstaFlow has a brand name and no listed generic. It is a supplement, not a drug. Other bottles may list similar amino acids under their own names, and the checks above let you judge them.

Price alone will not help. A cheaper bottle with the same small amounts just gives you those amounts for less. A pricier bottle with bigger amounts may still lack a trial on the finished product, as ProstaFlow does.

Not published for ProstaFlow: a trial of the finished capsule, an independent testing mark, and a named manufacturing facility.

What would a fair comparison conclude?

It would say that ProstaFlow is transparent about amounts, modest in its claims and clear about its guarantee. It would also say that its amounts are small beside the research it borrows from, that it carries no prostate herb and that no outside lab report is published.

Whether that beats another product depends on what you want. If you want saw palmetto, it will not. If you want a vegetarian capsule with a fully printed panel and a written refund window, it may.

Frequently asked questions

Is ProstaFlow better than other prostate supplements?

That depends on which ingredients you want. ProstaFlow holds no prostate herb and prints every amount. We name no other brand, so use the seven checks.

What is the difference between ProstaFlow and other brands?

Compare the printed panels, the amounts against trial doses, the claims, the cost a day, the guarantee start date and the contact route. ProstaFlow's answers are in the scorecard above.

Is there a ProstaFlow Maxx or ProstaFlow Plus?

No product under those names is described in our sources. Check the panel on any bottle that uses them.

Is there a generic version of ProstaFlow?

None. It carries a brand name, and no generic name is listed.

How many mg of arginine are in ProstaFlow?

About 333 mg: 200 mg from the base row, plus roughly 133 mg inside the 200 mg AKG 2:1 extract row.

Why compare cost a day instead of price?

Packs differ in size and shipping. A day rate with shipping included lets you compare two products fairly. ProstaFlow works out at $2.80, $2.30 or $1.63 a day.

Our view

We would rather give you a method than a verdict. A brand duel is easy to write and hard to trust. Seven checks take about twenty minutes and work on any bottle.

On those checks ProstaFlow looks open and modest. Its weak points are the small amounts and the missing outside testing. It is up to you to weigh them against whatever you are comparing.

Whichever product you pick, tell your doctor what you take, especially if you use a nitrate or a PDE5 inhibitor.
